Born from a passion to offer a high-quality Minecraft experience, LaVister2 and Kohojo founded BlockQuest.

Our story starts with our journey across various servers and realms. While some offered wonderful communities, they often lacked responsiveness to player needs, while others struggled with rule enforcement.

We envisioned a place where players' voices mattered, their creativity was valued, and every player was treated with respect. BlockQuest is that vision come to life.

About BlockQuest

  • While we don’t bind ourselves to a specific setting, we champion a culture of collaboration. We eagerly anticipate the spark of friendships and partnerships during our season’s opening event, fostering an environment of unity and mutual growth.

  • We pride ourselves on the blend of vanilla and modded experiences. Features like One Player Sleep, Death Counter, Mob Heads, and Mini Block accentuate the gameplay. Competition thrives in BlockQuest's landscape, making for exciting content creation. Moreover, every season promises a large-scale mini-game, starting with our spin on TangoTek's Hermitcraft favorite, Decked-Out.

  • LaVister2 and Kohojo's experience running a successful server for six (6) years fuels BlockQuest. That experience taught them the importance of a balanced focus on current members and fresh recruitment. This balance and our unmet expectations from other servers led us to the genesis of BlockQuest.

  • BlockQuest is an adult haven with a myriad of play styles. We meld the wholesomeness of family-friendly servers with the thrill of competition, creating a landscape where casual builders and role-players can also flourish. Our aim? Flexibility and fun at its Minecraft best.

  • Our events calendar is brimming. Starting with a week-long inaugural event, players can expect monthly engagements like build competitions, mini-game days, community builds, and treasure hunts. We have our eyes set on an ever-evolving BlockQuest experience.

  • Ensuring smooth gameplay is our state-of-the-art hardware, powered by a 1950x AMD Threadripper, boasting 64 GB DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB raid zero NVME storage, and a GTX 1080TI graphics card. The entire system enjoys the efficiency of water-cooling.

  • At BlockQuest, respect and safety aren’t mere words; they’re our ethos. We stand unwavering against discrimination and ensure rule adherence through advanced anti-cheat mods. Every player’s comfort and security are paramount to us.

  • We believe in a democratic server. Players can make suggestions, which, once receiving community approval, spark debates. Every voice matters, and every idea is valued. We review recommendations bi-weekly, ensuring the community is always at the heart of our decisions.

    Co-owner of BlockQuest with seven years of Minecraft experience. He’s the brain behind intricate redstone designs and complex survival games. BlockQuest is his second successful venture after a fruitful partnership with Kohojo in a previous server.

    The other half of BlockQuest’s leadership. With eight years of Minecraft under his belt, he specializes in mega builds and large community projects. Having run a successful server alongside LaVister2 in the past, he’s all set to recreate the magic.
